Ceshia Ubau, singer-songwriter and psychologist, born in Managua, Nicaragua, and residing in Costa Rica. Her music blends Central American folklore with global sounds, having performed at international festivals. She has also been involved in human rights campaigns and has made her mark in Latin American music with her unique approach and commitment to the region’s reality.
Career
Winner of the IBERMUSICAS Award in 2019 and third place in the World Music category of the International Songwriting Competition in 2020. She released her album “LUZ” in 2022, considered for Latin Grammy nominations. A member of the Latin Recording Academy in 2023. Ceshia shares her vision of Latin American reality through her music.
