In 2014 Andrea won “Singer of The Year ” at the Fox Music USA Award ceremony held in Houston, Texas.
Before closing down, Andrea was regularly performing at the legendary House of Blues on Sunset Strip of Hollywood accompanied by her Pop/Rock Band.
Between 2020- 2022, during pandemic times, Andrea participated by zoom in many radio interviews all over the world promoting her music. She has written a book of poems about to get published and self taught piano and Ukulele. She also created her own radio show/segment called “Una Ventana A Hollywood” successfully aired on an FM Radio in the US as in Madrid, Spain to the world.
In 2021 Andrea Lafert received a recognition by “Premios Mi Guitarra” en Medellín Colombia and by the ‘Latin Stars Awards’ from New York.
She has recorded “Malibu” a Jazz Single produced by NBC musical director and former Barbra Streisand composer, Lan O’kun. In recent years, Andrea has released several musical releases .In December of 2022, the Singer-Songwriter performed at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles before an audience of 56.000 people accompanied a legendary artist from Spain, on guitar and vocals.
In 2023 Andrea released “Resilience”, a bilingual co-production between US and Spanish producers.
”Resilience” is a distinctive collection of her original songs, recorded half in English, half in Spanish. The
upbeat/high energy of hits like ”Beautiful Night” harmoniously blends into a variety of electronic sounds while
the Soft Rock-Power ballads like “To Feel” and “Until The End Of Times” showcases the artist’s versatile style
not only as a composer but as a Vocalist too. In December 2024, Andrea Lafert received the Latin Pop Award
distinction by “ Emerging Artist Award” in Medellin, Colombia.
In January 2025, while wrapping up the recordings of her new album, fully recorded in Miami, USA, the artist suffered the tragic loss of her entire home town to the Californian fires, luckily she was able to escape the flames around her home. In spite of the unfortunate events, Andrea Lafert is finding the much needed strength based on her indomitable “Never Give Up Spirit” while getting very excited and ready to launch her upcoming new Album “ Entre Cenizas”.
